Join us on Thursday, July 16th for a festive summer evening as Bites & Bubbles celebrates the 250-Year Celebration of the USA with a quintessential American BBQ-inspired wine dinner.

Chef Eddie Nickell is creating a special menu inspired by the flavors of a classic American summer cookout, elevated with the signature Bites & Bubbles touch. Expect bold seasonal flavors, nostalgic favorites, perfectly paired wines, and a celebratory evening filled with great food, great wine, and summer hospitality.

From the hills of Kentucky to the rocky coast of Maine, across the Golden Gate and into the heart of Texas, ending beneath the peach trees of Georgia and the vineyards of Michigan, tonight's menu celebrates the diverse flavors and traditions that have shaped the American table for 250 years.

 

 

Welcome Cocktail | Kentucky

Liberty Gold Rush - Kentucky Bourbon, Wildflower Honey, Fresh Lemon, Orange Bitters

Reception Amuse-Bouche | Kentucky

Grandma Della's Deviled Eggs - Chef Eddie's family recipe inspired by his grandmother Della of Kentucky.

 

First Course | Maine

Classic Maine Lobster Roll - Butter-poached Maine lobster, lemon aioli, celery leaf, Old Bay potato crisp.

Wine Pairing - Oregon Chardonnay

 

Second Course | California

Golden Gate BBQ Salmon Lo Mein - BBQ-glazed salmon, lo mein noodles, grilled seasonal vegetables, scallions, crispy garlic.

Wine Pairing - Russian River Valley Pinot Noir

 

Third Course | Texas

Texas Mesquite BBQ Short Rib - Slow-braised beef short rib, Chef Eddie's mesquite BBQ sauce, smoked cheddar grits, root vegetables.

Wine Pairing - Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon

 

Dessert Course | Georgia

Georgia Jubilee Peach Cobbler - Fresh Georgia peaches, brown butter biscuit crust, vanilla ice cream, candied Georgia pecans.

Wine Pairing - Leelanau Witches Brew Spiced Red, Michigan
